Happy First Birthday to my Little Man!!
To celebrate, we hosted a Football-themed birthday party with a Denver Broncos colour scheme of blue and orange. Here’s a peek at all the party details:
Purchased from Etsy seller lilWETSETTERS:
I used a Football Party Printables set from Etsy Seller Amanda’s Parties To GO to decorate. It came with so much I didn’t end up using it all but the printables will be perfect for future Superbowl Parties! I did use signs, favour tags and my favorite – this Happy Birthday pennant banner:
General snacks were served but the pride of the offerings was this Pinspired football-field nacho dip:
The base was my favorite nacho dip recipe – cream cheese, sour cream and Old El Paso taco seasoning blended and topped with salsa. I added a layer of guacamole over the middle, grated cheese on the end and piped sour cream to make the lines. Toothpicks and Hot Rods made my goal posts.
Getting on board with the cake smash trend, I made a two part football cake. A simple round field for the guests and a small football for Jack to eat/smash all on his own.
Plus some extra cupcakes:
Any event of mine wouldn’t be complete without decorated sugar cookies. The thank you favours included a football, the number 1 and a birthday-boy jersey:
The Cake Smash!
A big thank you goes out to all our friends and family who came out to celebrate!
